Lighting

Most difficult and important thing in video production is Lighting here the basic rule for lighting that is followed is 3 point lighting system in this rule the subject is enlightened with 3 lights it includes key light background light and filler light theses the light are set upon the subject that the with such a way that shadow of the subject will be hide in such a way that shadow didn't visible in the camera these lights are set with considering the direction of the camera and these lights have their own function according of their types here are some other categorization of the lights into hard light and soft lights, Key light is considered to be hard light and back ground light is also fall in this category and soft lights are filler lights and effect based lights like (flash light, Disco lights) the basic purpose of soft lights are to give effects into the environment proper lighting makes video its original look it makes your video production lively and realistic.

Camera

Camera is just a machine that can capture every thing, it functions some as the function of eyes we usually categorize camera into 2 types 1st one is pedestal and second one is portable the pedestal cameras are used in indoor recording and the portable camera are use for outdoor assignments, reporting or some road shows.

Camera handling is truly an artistic work while using camera you should keep things in mind that there must be proper light, the angle you are using by the camera and the frame you are going to compose are correct then you can get the better production result if you keep these things in mind then there is nothing to worry about the video result and other things.

Camera Placing

Camera is the tool for recording video, the producer is the man who is giving Instructions to the Camera man to change its direction and make another frame for the new shoot, producer is the commander of the ship he is controlling whole program, we can add as many cameras as we can this make shooting(program) more lively for the audience the main thing for the shooting is the camera placing for the guests, anchor participants and audience in whole shooting we have to cover there people in the set of the program.Mostly we use 3 camera production for better result for the audience One camera is for Anchor 2nd one is for long short and third one is for guests. Producer is the man that can see thought the Monitor of the Camera to get its desired result he is also giving instructions to the camera man for the best shots from the camera because producer is all in all to its program that he is producing there are many types of shots that make shooting more lively for the viewers here are some types of shoots that are used in the production.

Set Designing

Set Designing  is truly artistic work done by a specially trained designer, he can see the whole scene and its requirement time, color scheme all the things he has to kept in mind while making his design and this design is   totally made with the choice of the producer of the Program this set design is a Classical  Music mid night show   so this is made with whole Rose  Petal on the front and on the back its whole decorated with candles.but the main thing about this set is the lighting, lighting give set it whole look this set is perfectly lightened by Abid Sahib the senior light man of  PTV very expert and very talented light man this is the stage view of this program and you see the spots on the rose flower was the special lighting effect This set really needs the talented man that can lighten it up for the audience and the T.V watcher as well.

Production

The video production process is made up of different stages and it is a whole team work to accomplish any production process, i was in Pakistan television center Lahore i have spent 2 month in drama  production because the best thing about PTV is the production,it never stops as compare to private media channels the drama production starts from the idea of the producer who wants to make a drama serial then the next step is to write each and every camera angle dialogue and actors of the drama on a piece of paper called script,this script of paper that has written the whole idea of the drama in a dramatic sense and this was given to the actor which are going to perform in the drama serial, then the whole budget will be decided for the production Set design,lights,outdoor shorts,editing and computer graphic every thing is gonna be considered before the production starts.
